NordVPN pairs a mature client suite with an infrastructure profile that has been independently audited on several occasions. Throughput on NordLynx (WireGuard) is consistent across North American and European endpoints and remains within a narrow band under sustained transfer.
Manual router deployment is possible but requires the OpenVPN configuration files rather than a native WireGuard interface, which lengthens setup for firewall based topologies.
